Was wanting to farm tengu in North Kryta Prov. anyone have a solo build??

OOOH, i didn't see this was in the ranger section. It would be long but your standard trapper builds would work. I used to do that befor i disconvered the joys of ele farming.

I'm guessing you want to farm for Halloween? if so do it in Normal Mode as its quicker/easier.

Made a build back in March that worked in both HM & NM. Appears in the video at 1:06 in Hard Mode.

If you are wanting to try it in HM practice it in NM first; you just need to learn to make the Mesmer Tengu(s) use up their Cry of Frustrations before VwK, mainly by using Troll Unguent - they can't resist its 3 second cast.

Here are the "details" for it:

Armour & Weapons
Full Sentry Armour, Radiant is not needed and pointless as you will be under Quickening Zephyr. You need all the Armour you can get, this only applies for Hard Mode.

The best weapon choice will be an Axe/Sword with a +5 Energy Inscription and a +30hp hilt. Best shield would be a Stance Shield. (-2 in stance & +30hp or +45hp in stance)

14 Wilderness of Survival ( 10+1+3 - Superior Wilderness mask)
12 Restoration Magic
Rest Expertise ( +1 Minor Expertise Rune)

If you do it in NM their damage isnt so great so a basic R/Mo Vig Spirit/Live Vicariously Barrager should be able to do it. Unless the mesmers have shatter, I cant really remember.

the tengu wild do have shatter so enchant based builds are right out.
